White Petition from Airmont white school dated May 19, 1926 addressed to William T. Smith, trustee for Mount Gilead School District and the Loudoun County school board opposing the closure of Airmont school. This petition includes the names of petitioning parents and the number of students attending school and their ages and their distances from the school. Mr. R. Faulkner of Philomont, Virginia received a letter of receipt from the District superintendent . The Superintendent thanked Mr. Faulkner for the petition.
