Dear Vr. Wangzert
I wish to ecknowledge receipt from you of a deed glving
ghe County School Board the clesr title to the Gibbons lot
of about eight acres.
Our County School Bosrd has approved this lot as a site
for & new high school bullding. The School Board has decdded
to build upon this site a building whiech will cost not less
than $30,000400 and the boerd has also declded to ceuse this
building to be erected at the earliest time within 1ts power.
This site and building is to be used for the education of
colored children.
I wish to express my thanks for this donation on the
part of the colored citizens of this county and I wish to
@ssure you that I shall do all within my power to make your
donation work out to the advantace of the colored children
of this countye :
Everything I cen do as superintendent of schools to
hesten the construction of this bullding will be done.
